Aussie (formerly known as Ben Dawkins) has been in the WA Legislative Council as an MP since March 2023.  Aussie has almost no filter, responding to questionable government legislation with blunt and direct criticism. 
 

Questionable government has been an ongoing challenge with Labor having a majority in both houses.  Aussie's staunch criticism of what he sees an an authoritarian state government has seen him abused numerous times in the chamber by a government running from scrutiny.  
 

Aussie may well be WA's most controversial MP but he didn't take the job to make friends, he still states he wants to restore democracy, something the major parties won't do.

In parliament, Aussie has stood up for the vaccine injured, and is calling for a ban on mRNA vaccines until and unless they are proven safe.
