I was elected in March 2021 with a party but am now independent. This has given me much greater scope to talk about the subjects that Western Australians have indicated to be important.
My focus has always been to try and make the world a happier, healthier, and safer place. I believe in bodily autonomy and science-based politics, something that appears to have been lacking this term of Parliament
In line with my values I will be focussing on healthcare, housing, sustainability, regenerative farming, and justice for those who have been harmed by the mandates.
The last 3.5 years have been an intense journey with much learning. I hope to be able to utilise my knowledge, experience, and insight with another term. It has also shown me that we need a greater diversity of voices in Parliament, people with different opinions and experiences. We need to regain a more balanced Parliament to ensure that all Western Australians are represented.
